Posted September 18, 2012

G Studio is working directly with the Metropolitan Planning Council to develop case studies to provide ideas for grant applicants.  These case studies include a commercial property, XIT, and a residential property, Ben Helphand, to characterize the scale and varied uses of a site.  XIT improvements include a roof garden, parkway improvements, sculptures, and rain garden.  The residential property includes a small and DIY approach to the improvements such as permeable paving, planting, and working in the parkway.  Images will be posted shortly.

Garden Experiment

Posted April 12, 2012

G Studio envisions a new vegetable gardens.  Typically the gardens focus on the efficiency of the space for maximum growth and harvest for the plant.  But what if you could add aesthetic character to the garden.  We understand this might be a compromise to the harvest but we feel a beautiful and interesting garden is important.  The experiment will take years to finish (if ever) but will have dramatic effects.  We hope you stay tuned to its development as we post the progress.
